Overview

The MCM TCP20 towable boom lift gives 22 m working height and an 11 m working radius on a trailer that folds to just 5.8 m, for high-level work on five-storey buildings, tall trees, silos and masts.

22 m without a truck

The MCM TCP20 is for work that most towable cherry pickers cannot reach. Its 20 m lifting height and 22 m working height put the operator at roughly fifth-storey level, and the 11 m working radius keeps that reach useful when the trailer has to stand back from the base of a building, tree or tank.

Shorter than the TCP18 when folded

Even with 2 m more height than the TCP18, the TCP20 folds to 5.8 m long (5.8 × 1.9 × 2.3 m), about 0.7 m shorter, which helps on tight sites and in yards. Net weight is 2 800 kg. The four outriggers spread to 3.9 × 4.9 m on site.

High-level jobs for the TCP20

Arborists use the height to reach the crowns of large gum and pine trees. Industrial clients use it on silos, stacks, conveyors and tall warehouse cladding. Municipal and events contractors use it for lighting masts, banners and stage rigging. With a 200 kg basket, plan the load around one operator and the tools for the job.

Compare

The TCP20 sits between the TCP18 (20 m working height) and the TCP22 (24 m, 12 m radius), the tallest model in the MCM cherry picker range.

Easy To Transport

Easy To Transport

The ability to tow the MCM TCP20 Cherry Picker behind a standard vehicle transforms it into a highly mobile productivity asset. Instead of relying on costly transport contractors or heavy-duty trucks, operators can move efficiently from site to site using a normal bakkie, reducing downtime, logistics complexity, and overall operating costs. Its compact, trailer-mounted design enables rapid deployment, faster job turnaround, and improved responsiveness to urgent call-outs. For contractors managing multiple projects, this flexibility means better fleet utilization, increased daily billable hours, and a clear competitive advantage through agility and reduced overheads.

Easy To Operate

Easy To Operate

The MCM TCP20 Cherry Picker is designed for straightforward, intuitive operation, allowing operators to get to work quickly with minimal training. Clearly marked controls, simple toggle functions, and an integrated emergency stop enhance both efficiency and safety on site. This ease of use reduces the learning curve, minimizes operator error, and improves overall jobsite productivity. For contractors, it means faster setup, smoother operation, and less downtime—ultimately translating into higher daily output and greater confidence when working at height.
