About Drum Mulchers from MCM Group+
Drum mulchers for sale in South Africa
MCM Group stocks 5 drum mulcher models for sale across South Africa, ready for collection at our branches in Cape Town, George, Bloemfontein, Midrand or for delivery to any of the nine provinces. Every drum mulcher we supply is selected and specified for tough local working conditions, and backed by in-country parts and service so you are never waiting on an overseas supplier when you need to keep working.
Drum mulchers are used for a wide range of construction, agricultural and industrial tasks. Whether you are a contractor, farmer, plant-hire operator or municipality, our team will help you match the right machine to your application and budget rather than over- or under-speccing the job.
How to choose the right drum mulcher
Start with the work the machine will do most often. Matching engine power, operating weight and lift or dig capacity to your typical tasks keeps running costs down and avoids paying for capability you will rarely use. If you run attachments, check the hydraulic flow and coupler type up front, and think about transport — how you will move the drum mulcher between sites affects which size class makes sense.
Compare the full specification of each model on its product page, then weigh up availability of parts, ease of servicing and resale value. A slightly higher purchase price often pays back through lower downtime and better support, which is exactly where buying a drum mulcher with a local warranty and a national parts network has the edge over a grey import.
Drum mulcher price and finance
Pricing for drum mulchers at MCM Group starts from R 198 500 excl. VAT, with the final figure depending on configuration, attachments and any current specials. Request a quote on any model for an up-to-date, all-in price including VAT and delivery to your area.
Most buyers finance their drum mulcher. MCM Group submits your application to several banks and asset-finance houses at once — including Nedbank, WesBank and Standard Bank — so you get competitive offers without shopping around, with approvals typically inside 48 to 72 hours. We handle the paperwork from quote to delivery.
