This year’s Nampo Harvest Day in Bothaville was once again a landmark event for MCM – not just as an exhibitor, but as a leader in Chinese, Indian & Italian agricultural and construction machinery. For those of you who weren’t able to attend, we’ve compiled this in-depth overview so you don’t miss a moment of what made Nampo 2025 such a success for us and, most importantly, for our customers.
1. Official Launch of Yuchai and the New Partnership with YC Diesel
An exciting milestones was the official launch of the MCM’s new partnership as dealer of Yuchai excavators & generators. Yuchai was established in 1951, and is a global leader in diesel engine and heavy equipment manufacturing including generators and excavators.
We announced our dealer partnership with YC Diesel, marking a new development in our product range.
2. Six MCM TLB Models on Display
We showcased six different backhoe loader (TLB) models, each uniquely suited for various applications – from small-scale farming to high-intensity construction. The range attracted wide attention due to its:
- Versatility across industries
- Fuel efficiency
- Improved operator comfort
- Competitive pricing with special show discounts
3. The Full Everun Loader Lineup
Visitors got to see the entire Everun range of front-end loaders, including:
- Compact farm loaders
- Heavy-duty construction units
- Two of our flagship 2.5-ton telescopic loaders, ideal for material handling in tight spaces or high-lift applications.
These machines continue to draw attention for their robust design, ease of use, and low maintenance requirements.
4. Exclusive Demo Area: Hands-On with the MCM 16DS Mini Excavator
Perhaps one of the most memorable attractions was the live demonstration area, where visitors could get behind the controls of the MCM 16DS Mini Excavator, powered by Kubota.
Designed for tight workspaces and demanding trenching jobs, this unit proved why it’s one of our fastest-growing sellers in:
- Vineyards and orchards
- Construction zones
- Landscaping operations
The hands-on digging experience allowed operators to feel the machine’s power, precision, and control firsthand.
5. P4206 Petrol Wood Chipper Demos
Right next to the excavator demo, we launched our new P4206 Petrol Wood Chipper. With the ability to shred materials up to 120mm in diameter, it captivated visitors with its performance and practicality.
Whether you’re clearing orchards, managing site vegetation, or handling farm maintenance, this chipper is:
- Compact and mobile
- Fuel-efficient
- Perfect for branches, brush, and palm off-cuts
6. Triple Rough Terrain Forklift Display
MCM displayed three different Rough Terrain Forklift (RTF) models, each engineered to perform where conventional forklifts fail:
- Uneven terrain
- Remote farming operations
- Outdoor storage yards
These models showed off their lifting power, high ground clearance, and adaptability – critical for South African environments.
7. LGMA Front-End Loaders: Heavy-Duty, Cost-Effective
Several LGMA FELs were on display, highlighting MCM’s ongoing commitment to quality partnerships and value-focused offerings. These machines combine proven reliability with excellent aftersales support, making them a favorite among contractors and cooperatives alike.
8. The Real Value: Customer Conversations and Industry Insights
Beyond the machines, the most rewarding part of Nampo was reconnecting with our existing customers and welcoming new faces. These conversations gave us deeper insight into:
- The evolving needs of farmers and contractors
- Practical ways to enhance machine support
- Ideas for product development and training solutions
As always, your feedback shapes our roadmap.
