Our Story
MCM Group was founded in 2008 by Johan van Niekerk — who still leads the business as CEO today — with a simple goal: give South African contractors and farmers direct access to robust, affordable heavy equipment without the layers of intermediaries that drive up cost on the traditional dealer route.
From a single operation, we grew into a four-branch national distributor, opened our own MCM-branded manufacturing line in China to control build quality and pricing on our house products, and became the South African distributor for several leading international OEMs. We have been a regular fixture at NAMPO Harvest Day for many years, and our machines now operate across construction sites, commercial farms, and plant-hire fleets throughout Southern Africa.

What We Do
MCM operates as both a manufacturer and an importer/distributor.
MCM-Branded Machines
Manufactured for us in China to MCM specifications and imported direct into South Africa. Our own line of TLBs, loaders, skidsteers, forklifts, mini excavators and cherry pickers — built for SA conditions, supported through our own branch network.
Partner OEMs
South African distributor for ACE Equipment (India), HZM Machinery, LGMA Machinery, Everun, MB Crusher (Italy), Yuchai, TYMG, Austter, and Aerobs. Manufacturing across Italy, China and India — service, parts and warranty handled in-country by MCM.
